When you visit the Frazier Museum, you will embark on a journey spanning more than 1,000 years and including plenty of hands-on fun and state-of-the-art multimedia presentations. You will no doubt discover new things about world history, and about your own.
The Frazier International History Museum is home to the world-class Frazier Arms Collection; a collection of artifacts covering four centuries including President George Washington's rifle, President Teddy Roosevelt's "Big Stick" used on African hunting safaris, and artifacts from such 19th century notables as "Buffalo Bill" Cody, Geronimo, and outlaw Jesse James.
The Frazier Museum is also home to the The Royal Armouries USA, the only national museum collection represented outside Great Britain and includes artifacts from the 11th to the 20th centuries. From arrows to armor, the Royal Armouries galleries provide an in-depth look at British and European history and captures the art and artestry of early arms making.
The Frazier Education and Interpretive Center brings history to life every day through exciting performances by costumed historical interpreters. Each interpretation provides guests with a glimpse into a historical character's life. Some favorites include, but are not limited to, Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill, Molly Pitcher, Vlad the Impaler, Riffleman Harris, and daily sword fights in the 3rd Floor Tournament Ring. The Frazier Museum also hosts lectures, discussions, guided tours, and musical performances. Additionally, the Frazier Education Center provides curriculum-based programming for school groups.
